Executive Overview

Christie Hardwick
Christie has over 22 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and grassroots organizing efforts. She holds a Masters degree in Organizational Development, is a Senior American Leadership Forum Fellow and a member of the Women's Leadership Board for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Christie has held executive positions in Change Management, Human Resources and Organizational Efficiency. She is a speaker in a variety of forums and provides life-coaching services to several clients across the United States.

As Vice President of Change Management at Silicon Graphics Inc., Christie tackled complex global projects such as the implementation of an enterprise resource planning system within 9 months and on budget. resulted in the elimination of 32 different ERP systems and the integration of 150 applications, enabling the company to have a global view of its operations, a single source of truth for reporting and a savings of $5 million/year in corporate operating expenses.

Other business operation achievements include the researching, designing and implementation of SGI's first Technical Users' Conference, which was attended by 100 top tier customers. Accomplished in 6 months at 1/5 the usual budget for similar events, the conference was used as a springboard to launch an official user group. Christie also designed, developed and delivered community relations strategies and provided tailored training and consultation aimed at improving organizational efficiency while holding management level positions in Human Resources, Organizational Development and Community Relations at Amdahl Corporation, Rolm and Advanced Micro Devices.

Twice elected trustee of the Fremont Unified School District , Christie also co-founded the Fremont Education Foundation, which provides funding to the school district for their music programs. She is also the founding chair of Gratschools.net, a non-profit organization providing a comprehensive online guide to public schools nationwide.

An experienced political consultant, Christie has successfully managed seven school district bond campaigns throughout California in a given year and was the Field Director for the 1992 Presidential, Senate and Congressional races in Southern Alameda County.

Christie currently shares her gifts as an executive coach and consultant who specializes in helping individuals and organizations break through their previous limitations and step up to what her new company brands a “spirited contribution”. Singing since childhood, Christie has recently achieved a lifelong goal by completing her first commercial CD, making her debut as a singer and songwriter.

Christie resides in Half Moon Bay with her wife Jane Harper. Christie is the mother of 3 children; twins age 30 and a 21-year old son and stepmother to Max aged 21.
